Protesters with the group Occupy ICE had been camping out in front of the facility for more than a week to call for abolishing the immigration enforcement agency in efforts to stop the deportations of people who illegally cross the US southern border.

Thankfully, ICE agents tracked him down and took him into custody.

"Well I hope they keep thinking about it, because they're going to get beaten so badly", Trump told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo in an interview excerpt released Saturday.

"I don't think ICE today is working as intended". Special Agents in charge of 19 different regions in the US signed a letter to the secretary of Homeland Security, asking her make them separate from Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Immigration enforcement is important, both sides agree on that.

The comments from DeBlasio came only days after Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old Latina woman running on a socialist platform which included abolishing ICE, successfully defeated 20-year incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) in the Democratic primary for New York's 14congressional district, which covers portions of Queens and the Bronx.

The officers suggested that ICE be dissolved and its work divided among two new separate agencies, one focused on HSI and one focused on Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO)-the unit which has enforced President Donald Trump's hardline immigration policy.

Blatter says England should host World Cup
The Kremlin has said US national security adviser John Bolton plans to visit Moscow, without providing details about the trip. Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter claims that VAR is failing due to a lack of consistency.

The heightened attention to ICE has also come from people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the upset victor of a New York City primary earlier this week, who has led the calls to abolish the agency and reorganize immigration enforcement in the US.

ICE, which is tasked with immigration enforcement away from USA borders, has been "emboldened" to inhumanely round up illegal immigrants and deport them, critics say.

But Trump on Saturday said "it will never happen" and accused Democrats of wanting to abolish "all police" - something no known Democrat has called for.

Efforts to further escalate the fight beyond the electoral realm are already in motion.

"That looks different in different places", she said.

Philadelphia City Council member Helen Gym recorded and tweeted out video of the scenes. Hartford City Councilwoman Wildaliz Bermudez, of the Working Families Party, said the visceral nature of reporting from the border during the height of the family separation crisis pushed the movement toward a tipping point. They say eight people were arrested. "They're talking about everyone".
