6 jokes Le Bron James has made despite the Cavs rough NBA Finals

6 jokes Le Bron James has made despite the Cavs rough NBA Finals

Aside from their series clinching losses to the Warriors, the Cavaliers have fared well in elimination games the past four seasons - going 7-2.

During his postgame press conference on Friday following the Golden State Warriors' sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers, James admitted to the injury and donned his cast.

The third time was more than just the charm.

The Golden State Warriors blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in game four of the NBA Finals to complete the sweep and claim their second straight NBA championship.

The Warriors now join a select list of teams to win three National Basketball Association championships in four years and are expected to add to that impressive haul. "As long as we're doing the right thing, we're in the right spots, we're helping each other out on defence, it just works for us".

Their coach, Steve Kerr, loves it too. "But it was hard".

Kerr added: "I just want to congratulate Cleveland on an incredible season".

"That's how you know we're a great team, is when everybody's coming after us", Durant said. After outscoring opponents in that period by 199 during the regular season and 141 to that point in the playoffs, they beat the Cavs 25-13 Friday night, ending it up 86-65.

"We know they're going to throw some insane punches and we've got to be able to weather the storm and their runs and the crowd and the atmosphere and all that".

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James revealed he played with a broken hand for the majority of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Durant won, giving him NBA Finals MVP trophies in each of his two seasons as a Warrior.

Catalonia: Madrid's direct rule ends with new Catalan government
The 46-year-old Sanchez is Spain's seventh prime minister since the return to democracy following the death of dictator Gen. Catalan nationalists have regained control of the region after a new government was sworn in.

Durant received seven of the 11 votes from the media panel tasked with making this decision, including Bleacher Report's Howard Beck. James finished the postseason having now led his team in points, rebounds and assists on 66 occasions.

"Steph went out and recruited K.D. with this in mind: Winning titles", Kerr said. "I don't remember anybody asking, "Who's going to win MVP in The Finals.' It was all about let's win championships together". And then you've got a guy in Klay (Thompson) who could easily be on a team and carry a team, scored 40 in a quarter before. "I pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand, so that's what it is". The loss-James has now played in nine finals and won three-means that the debate about whether the 33-year-old is the best player of all time rages on. When James returned to Cleveland in 2014, he recruited Kevin Love and others to join him and Irving. He fights and competes to the end. This seems just as unlikely a move considering Golden State's cap space would be next to nothing.

Now, as James said Thursday, "everyone is trying to figure out" how to assemble a team to knock off a dynasty.

"They have five guys on the floor that can dribble, pass and shoot", said Cavs coach Tyronn Lue.

The 76ers are actually now over the league salary cap at this moment, but for the best player in the league surely they can find a way to make it work financially.

"You can't have mistakes". That's the beauty of their team. Durant is also planning to opt out of his contract and sign a better deal with the Warriors this summer.

While Cleveland were the clear underdog in the NBA Finals, they certainly had their chances, blowing a 13-point lead in Game 3 and giving away a win on the road in the opener after a disastrous final 36 seconds in regulation. They are now tied with the Chicago Bulls for third-most championships in league history behind the Boston Celtics (17) and Los Angeles Lakers (16).

Fans chanted "M-V-P" to James in the final minutes, sensing his possible exit again.

The pregame air had a striking similarity to last year, when the Cavaliers, 1-3 against the Warriors over the past four years, forced a Game 5.

"I hope he stays". "But after a game like that I'm not in any position to talk about that".

"This is a journey that's better than the destination", Durant said. "That's all I can really speak about".
