FIFA 18 World Cup Update Out On May 29th; Here's What It Does

The present tour is due to conclude in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, a few days before the opening match of the 2018 World Cup between Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia scheduled for June 14.

On 22 January, the global leg of the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola started with an official launch ceremony in London, before visiting worldwide 66 cities, across 50 countries and 6 continents, travelling 146,835 kilometres and giving more than 146 000 football fans the chance to experience football's most coveted prize. EA SPORTS just announced the content, which features a "2018 FIFA World Cup Russia" mode, a "Custom Tournament" option (let's go, USMNT!) and "FIFA World Cup Ultimate Team". In addition to that, official teams, players, kits, presentation elements and authentic stadium atmospheres will be available, as EA indicated. You can read and see more of said stadiums here.

If you're a fan of FIFA Mobile, fear not: the 2018 World Cup Russia update will also affect the app, allowing you to foster one of the 32 qualified national teams (or one of the remaining non-qualifiers) and lead them to glory on the world stage. Additionally, FIFA World Cup Icons will be added, aka some of the the most iconic players in the tournament's history will be introduced into the mode. This FIFA 18 expansion builds on the same core of the original game and gives players something special to do during the World Cup.
