World Cup 2018: Will Smith and Diplo are collaborating on the official FIFA song

The 2018 World Cup will kick off on 14 June and will run for four weeks across various cities in Russian Federation.

Hollywood celebrity Will Smith has hinted he might be performing the official World Cup 2018 tune.

The song will hit streaming platforms on Friday (May 25) while the FIFA World Cup begins in Russian Federation on June 14.

In other World Cup news, Punk supergroup The Tallywags released their unofficial World Cup anthem "Charge Of The Light Brigade", in a bid to help England on their path to World Cup er, glory.

American DJ Diplo will produce the song.

It will be Smith's first foray into the music scene since 2015 when he featured in Colombian band Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta".
