Kim Jong-un 'agrees to meet' US President Donald Trump at DMZ border separating the two Koreas

North Korea propaganda SILENCED as Kim Jong-un vows to get rid of nukes

Trump and Kim are expected to hold an unprecedented summit, probably this month, after the North's ruler and President Moon Jae-in met for a summit on Friday at the border village of Panmunjom.

In the war, United Nations forces led by the United States fought alongside South Korea against the North, which was supported by China and the Soviet Union.

Moon's chief of staff, Im Jong-seok, called adviser Moon and cautioned him about "causing confusion" about the policy direction of the Moon government.

Moon's comments came after a presidential adviser publicly suggested the presence of United States troops would be called into question if a peace treaty were to be agreed with Pyongyang. Hostilities ceased with an armistice agreement signed on July 27, 1953, by the U.S. -led U.N. Command, North Korea and China. "It will be hard to justify their continuing presence".

The Chosun Ilbo daily suggested the arrival of F-22 jets could also be aimed at bolstering security in case the North Korea-US summit takes place at Panmunjom.

Again with a caveat about distance and angle, one of the lip-readers said that the two Korean leaders appear to have talked about the White House's suspicions about North Korea's willingness to scrap its nuclear weapons program. For more than a decade and a half, the USA has been engaged in an overseas war against non-state actors. "It has nothing to do with signing a peace treaty".

GOP-led House panel clears Trump campaign in Russian Federation probe
Trump in his post , Twitter wrote: "No evidence that the campaign trump was in collusion or coordinated with Russian Federation ". Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation is moving ahead, along with special counsel Robert Mueller's probe.

Kim and Moon during the summit promised to work toward the "complete denuclearization" of the Korean Peninsula, though they did not mention specific plans or timetables.

Seoul and Washington consider such a demand non-negotiable. She attended the dinner at the end of Friday's summit, smiling throughout and having warm conversations about art and music with Moon's wife, Kim Jung-sook.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has convinced North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to hold his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump at the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas, a source tells CNN. "His position is that the USFK should continue its presence here after the signing of the peace treaty", said the official. US forces in the Korean Peninsula are largely held hostage to the Korean standoff and therefore ill-structured to address the broader strategic challenges in the region. Analysts say China's sanctions implementation may have helped prompt the North's diplomatic initiatives although the secretive regime in Pyongyang has made no public comments on the issue.

The U.S. and the North are believed to be in talks over the potential release of the three.
