R. Kelly sued by woman he 'forced to film sexual acts', infected with herpes

R. Kelly accuser takes her chilling claims public

A woman claims that she was once a sex slave to R.Kelly, and she said that he "willfully, deliberately and maliciously" infected her with herpes as a means of coercion.

Faith Rodgers says in the suit filed Monday that she met Kelly after a concert in March of a year ago in San Antonio, Texas.

She claims the pair then entered a relationship for a year, in which Kelly allegedly locked her in rooms for "failing to fulfil his sexual desires", and that Kelly enlisted a female confidante to ensure Rodgers was unable to leave. They began to message each other frequently until R. Kelly flew her to one of his shows in NY.

Rodgers said that Kelly flew her to NY to attend a show and that she "submitted" to sex when he visited her hotel room.

Weeks later, Faith said he facilitated her trip down to NY for one of his concerts and lodged her in a hotel.

After a series of sexual misconduct allegations by former girlfriends, several music streaming services, from Spotify to Apple, have removed R. Kelly's songs from their playlists. She also alleges Kelly recorded the encounter on his iPad, without her consent.

R. Kelly is being sued by a woman who claims he knowingly infected her with an STD.

"For over 20 years, women across America have been victimized by R. Kelly, and have filed eerily similar claims", Rodgers' attorney, Faith C. Hills, told NPR.

In the same year, a video emerged that allegedly showed Kelly having sex with a 14-year-old girl. I want to propose a toast to all the strong mother*ckers in here right now. It's mother*ckers like you is why I continue to do what I do because I have a basketball mentality.

'He has this type of intimidation right off the bat, so I was just waiting for it to be over, ' she added during her interview.

R Kelly has not yet responded to Faith's allegations.

"I was devastated", she said. "These offences occurred while our client was being groomed to join Kelly's sex cult". In 2008, he was acquitted on child pornography charges.

After his show, Rodgers said the singer came to her room, ignored her warning that she was "not ready to have sex" and "initiated non-consensual oral and vaginal intercourse".

Amid the controversy to #muterkelly, in late April promoters cancelled a concert in Chicago, his hometown.
