Security tight as Karachi gears up for PSL final

As the National Stadium in Karachi hosted its first high-profile game since the Pakistan-Sri Lanka Test in February, 2009, Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by four wickets to clinch its second Pakistan Super League (PSL) title in Karachi on Sunday.

Although some overseas players opted out, authorities have promised head-of-state level security at the National Cricket Stadium when Peshawar Zalmi take on Islamabad United.

Match will start at 8PM PST and will be hosted at Karachi Stadium.

The size of the stadium was extended for 1987's World Cup when three worldwide matches were played.
