Palestine: Israeli soldiers kill two Palestinians, one with special needs

Mohammed al-Jabari, 24, was shot during the clashes in the southern West Bank city of Hebron and later died in hospital, the ministry said.

According to eyewitnesses in Hebron, Jabri was handicapped and Palestinian media outlets say Jabri was deaf and mute.

He was shot after the soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force against Palestinian protesters, firing live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.

The border is a frequent site of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces.

The demonstrations have been organized every Friday since U.S. President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and made a decision to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to the disputed holy city on December 6.

Breitbart Jerusalem reported last month that Hamas is actively recruiting the Palestinian organizations ahead of an operation to get thousands of Gazans to march on the border with Israel.

Israel occupied mainly Palestinian east Jerusalem in the 1967 Six-Day War and later annexed it in a move never recognised by the worldwide community.

The newspaper indicated that the use of the refugee motif will also reflect the terrorist organization's protest against USA attempts to block aid to the United Nation's Palestinian "refugee" agency UNRWA.

Netanyahu signaled back in November 2017 that Israel would not repatriate the bodies of five Palestinians killed when the Israeli army blew up a tunnel allegedly stretching from the Gaza Strip into the occupied territory.

The bill was sponsored by two Knesset members from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing Likud and the religious-nationalist Jewish Home parties.
