But will Zuck wear a suit

On mobile devices, The Guardian says Facebook has compiled all privacy settings into one menu, rather than across "nearly 20 different screens" as it was in previous versions.

Facebook insists this move - to give people greater visibility of their privacy settings and an easier way to delete data - has been in the works for months, but the company knows how urgent this has become. In case you want to prevent Facebook from tracking your online activity then Mozilla Firefox has a solution for you.

The company said the updates have been in the works for "some time but the events of the past several days underscore their importance".

The communications experts that spoke with Spectrum News say even though Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will be testifying before some congress subcommittees about the issue, they don't anticipate much of anything will happen because the federal government has been leaning toward deregulation policies. The feature will allow users to delete items they no longer want on their Facebook page.

From this page users can attend their account security layers (like two-factor authentication), control their personal info and advertising, and restrict the visibility of their profile info to other users.

Facebook also said it plans to update its privacy policy and terms of service in the coming weeks, but gave no further details. The company has created a new extension called Facebook Container.

As the recent news of Facebook's data breach has gained more notice, users of the social media platform have wondered what of their information and data has been compromised and what they can do to lock down their accounts.

Barley demanded a "comprehensive investigation" into whether German users were affected by the illegal use of information from millions of Facebook profiles during "electoral strategy" work by the company Cambridge Analytica for the US Trump presidential campaign and the British Leave campaign during the Brexit referendum.

"It's our responsibility to tell you how we collect and use your data in a language that's detailed, but also easy to understand". Three users of the Facebook Messenger have filed lawsuits against the company for violating their privacy.

"The social media company said the Privacy Act did not apply to it and it did not have to comply with the commissioner's request to review the information requested by the complainant", the watchdog said in a statement.

An Indian billionaire who promised to help fund a rival to Facebook said Wednesday he had been "overwhelmed" with the response as the world grapples with concerns about data privacy.
