Sony Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 press renders leak

While many fans are probably waiting for Sony's 2018 high-end phones (which should include an Xperia XZ2), we're now going to talk about the mid-range Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, and the lower-end Xperia L2.

Each of these handsets is expected to be unveiled soon, but there is some uncertainty whether Sony will showcase them at the CES next week or during MWC in February. Although we are quite disappointed with the fact that Sony has decide to retain the same old design, the flagship Xperia XZ Premium 2 is expected to feature a bezel-less design. The biggest change will be the Xperia XA and XA Ultra's apparent switch to Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processors instead of MediaTek processors, as spotted by VentureBeat, which also acquired leaked pictures of the phones.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra will come with similar specifications, display size and the front camera configuration.

As you can see, the front XA2 Sony Xperia Ultra looks familiar and not much different from its predecessor. The back houses a single rear camera with LED flash and just beneath it, you will find the fingerprint sensor. As for the XA2 Ultra, the smartphone may have the same rear camera along with dual 15MP front-facing cameras, which too may be able to record 4K videos. "The Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra will both offer FullHD resolution screens, but the XA2 will have a 5.2" display, while the XA2 Ultra will come with a 6" screen. It also appears to feature a dual selfie camera setup.

Honduras tribunal says incumbent Hernandez received election
The count has been questioned by the two main opposition parties and a wide swath of the diplomatic corps. He said the election was marred by irregularities and deficiencies and called for a new general election.

On the camera front, both the smartphones will bear the same rear camera of 21-megapixel with 4K recording.

Apart from that, there is little known about the Xperia L2.

The Xperia L2 will boast a 5.2-inch 720p touchscreen, but may disappointingly come with Android Nougat on board when it launches. Both smartphones have been spotted running Android 8.0.0 Oreo.
