PlayStation Totaku lineup looks amiibo-like but they're really not

The Totaku figures appear to be incredibly detailed, and we hope that the final products reflect the quality in the promotional materials.

As reported by Polygon, the Totaku figures are from ThinkGeek (which is a GameStop company).

There is no reason to own the Totaku figures beyond actually liking the characters. There's Crash Bandicoot, Parappa the Rapper, Wipeout's Feisar FX350 racing ship, Tekken's Heihachi, Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet, the hunter from Bloodborne, and Kratos from the new version of God of War. That's a bit on the small side, but for $9.99, you can't really complain about that, I suppose.

Theresa May to meet Donald Trump in Davos
Trump is a hugely controversial figure in Britain, where he recently caused an uproar by retweeting the anti-Muslim videos of the leader of a far-right group.

Islamic State declares war on Hamas with an execution video
The Israeli naval soldiers then forced them to take off their clothes, jumped into the water and swim towards the Israeli gunboat. The decision, backed by Israel and USA lawmakers, flew in the face of worldwide diplomacy and threatened to stall peace talks.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze On Switch

These figures aren't interactive like the popular Nintendo amiibo figures, but they do look very similar in design. Each series is numbered as a way of encouraging you to collect them all. In the United States, it looks as though GameStop will be the only place to grab them. In some European countries, the Totaku Collection will be exclusive to GAME stores.

You know Amiibo's? Nintendo's little figures that usually release every so often when a big title is coming, you can usually press them against one of your Nintendo Consoles and it would do something? Considering how there is a GameStop on every street corner, it shouldn't be hard to get your hands on the figures. I know I'd like to own figures of Nathan Drake, Wander from Shadow of the Colossus, or even Cole McGrath from inFAMOUS.
