WATCH: Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins both tossed

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry shoots over New Orleans Pelicans guard E'Twaun Moore in the first half of an NBA basketball game in New Orleans Monday Dec. 4 2017

The Golden State Warriors put together a trademark performance on Monday evening in overcoming a 20-point halftime deficit on the road in New Orleans to win by 10 points in going-away fashion.

Curry finished with 31 points, hitting five triples, and 11 assists for the Warriors (19-6), winners of four straight games.

The Advocate also confirmed extra security was brought in to keep Cousins and Durant apart after the game. With a little more than a minute remaining in the game and Golden State comfortably ahead, the two got tangled up on a play and briefly started arguing with one another before a referee stepped in, gave both of them technical fouls, and ejected them from the contest.

"Every time I get ejected, I make sure it's late in the game", Durant told reporters after the game, according to the Athletic. I make sure it's late in the game if I want to do something.

Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins get ejected, need to be separated

After being tossed Friday night in Orlando, Durant exchanged words with Pelicans' big man DeMarcus Cousins in the waning moments and both players were sent off the floor by the officials. "We got in each other's faces, but that's just how it is, you know what I'm saying?" Durant is doing too much to show the league, he isn't a cupcake and a softy. Especially somebody like Cousins, we know that he's feisty, we know that he's emotional. "We know that he plays that way, so I can't get involved with that - that's just who he is, I've got to be me".

"We're a championship team", Kerr said. For anyone keeping count, this is the second time in three days that Durant has been ejected. We're just talking, getting into it....it's a heated matchup, it was a heated conversation.

During the Warriors' 125-115 win over the Pelicans last night at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Durant managed to go 8-of-21 from the field and 2-of-3 from the line in 35 minutes, scoring 19 points with seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block, one 3-pointer and six turnovers.
