Mass brawl erupts in Alabama during Black Friday shopping sales

The mall was open again Friday.

On Thursday night, a violent incident occurred in an Alabama mall, resulting in minor injuries, and a shopper accidentally threw a shoe at a baby, USA Today reported. A 19-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries during a shooting between two men who were sitting inside a auto when one of them tried to holster a gun, according to Columbia police.

Management said the mall closed at about 11:30 p.m. because of a recommendation from police. No one was transported to the hospital.

While Czekelba claimed the brawl wasn't sale-related, other reports explained the fight happened because one woman mistakenly hit a child with a shoe.

The second incident was the fight.
