Harrison Ford a Car Accident Hero

The Hollywood actor took a heroic turn late Sunday morning (November 19), after a woman driving east on California State Route 126 accidentally ran her auto off the road.

Harrison Ford assisted a woman after she crashed her auto in California on Sunday.

Ford, 75, was driving along California State Route 126 around noon on November 19 when he saw a gray vehicle swerve off the road into an embankment, TMZ reported. The actor then pulled over and checked on her along with several other people as paramedics made their way to the scene.

Photos of Ford talking to first responders at the scene began surfacing online.

Ford is famous for roles including Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark and its sequels and for playing Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise, among others.

The vehicle collided with a tree after rolling over, Santa Paula senior police officer Matt Alonzo told the Ventura County Star. Together, they were able to help get the woman out of the auto as they waited for paramedics to arrive.

The woman reportedly suffered minor injuries in the crash. Recently, according to Entertainment Tonight, he was seen directing traffic after cars got backed up at a New York City tunnel.
