Some have found that disabling this feature prevents the issue, others say that even just toggling it off and then on is a temporary solution.
Both Google and LG will have to take the blame if the display issue is not resolved soon. Previously, the company released a batch of "pure" Pixel 2 XL without Android. The smaller, HTC developed Pixel 2 handset has experienced problems of its own, but to a much lesser degree. The miniature home assistants, each of which retails for about $50 at their regular price, are expected to ship out around four weeks after the delivery date of the new Pixel handsets, according to Android Authority.
It doesn't happen on the Pixel 2 but only on the bigger variant. This is an issue beyond just phone calls, though, as things such as voice recognition use the same microphones.
