He said that the people of Gujarat are not so cheap that they can be bought by the BJP, the party has insulted the people and revenge will be taken.

Earlier, Hardik had turned down the Congress' invitation to fight the Gujarat Assembly election jointly, saying the polls were not a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Congress fight.

Narendra's Patel's revealation came on the day when Varun Patel and Reshma Patel - two close aides of Hardik Patel joined the BJP, weeks before the state election.

Following the claim by Narendra Patel, North Gujarat convener of the Hardik Patel-led Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS), Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said Gujarat was priceless and could never be bought. He told that both BJP and Congress are Theif parties, BJP is bigger thief while congress is his cousin brother.

"Hardik Patel did not meet Rahul Gandhi today". Narendra Patel in his sensational allegations revealed that Varun Patel gave him 10 lakhs and assured that the rest of the amounts will be paid soon.

Reacting to the revelations of Narendra Patel, the Patidar leader on Monday took a dig at the BJP in a chain of tweets.

This for the third time in a month the Congress leader is visiting the state. When he realised that BJP is not doing anything in favour of his community, he resigned from BJP and also thanked Narendra Patel, to reveal the truth about BJP.
