Kingsley Coman led the way in one particular drill as the Bayern winger worked up a sweat
The Ligue 1 club signed French teenager Kylian Mbappe, one of Europe's most exciting talents, on Thursday in a deal worth 180 million euros ($214 million) to highlight their astonishing financial muscle.
The deal had been on the cards for a some time and was all but finalized last week, but an official announcement was held up while the Parisclub worked to find way around UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules, which are meant to prevent clubs from spending much more than they earn in a single season.
With the clock ticking towards the close of the transfer window at 2200 GMT, local media said Crystal Palace were trying to bring in Liverpool centre back Mamadou Sakho, who played for the club on loan last term, with Chelsea in talks with Leicester City in a bid to sign midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
"The loan agreement also includes a call option for Paris Saint-Germain which, when exercised, will bind the player to Paris Saint-Germain until 30 June 2022".
Yesterday saw Japan beat Australia 2-0 while European Championship Finalists France beat the Netherlands 4-0 with new Paris St German signing Kylian Mbappe netting a goal, as well as Athletico Madrid Forward Antoinne Greiezman scoring, and in demand attacker Thomas Lemar netting two goals. "I think the project is ideal for me to progress and to continue to learn at the highest level", he said.
Uefa has announced a formal investigation into the multi-million pound transfer window spending of Paris Saint- Germain, and whether it has complied with financial fair play (FFP) rules requiring clubs to break even.
The most eye-catching of all was PSG's incredible £198m capture of Barcelona star Neymar, when the French club met the player's assumed-to-be prohibitive release clause.
