Taylor Swift's social media accounts go dark

Is this a sign that new Taylor Swift music is finally on the way? However, it looks like things are about to change.

Another fan wrote: "1) EITHER TAYLOR SWIFT IS FUCKING COMING OR 2) TAYLOR SWIFT IS DELETING ALL OF HER SOCIAL MEDIA".

What's most likely, in my opinion, is Swift is about to announce her new album and she's wiping all of her social media clean so she can do a full sweep of new content completely centered around the album's theme.

Her last album, "1989", came out in 2014.

The 27-year-old pop star appeared to delete her social media accounts on August 18, the third anniversary of the release of her hit single "Shake It Off".

Naturally, Swift's legion of fans almost lost their minds over the sudden changes.

Others wondered if she had been hacked, while some thought the country-turned-pop star might be planning an image makeover.

Taylor Swift's entire online presence is a blank space. Unlike on Instagram, her posts on Facebook are apparently remaining live.

Swift had counter-sued Mueller in the civil case, alleging he groped her during a 2013 backstage photo op with fans and guests before a concert in 2013.

Her supporters immediately flocked to social media to share their excitement, claiming Taylor's blackout was signalling the fact she is about to release new music and reveal a "new era".

Her unflinching testimony describing the incident was applauded by fans and women's rights groups for highlighting the issue of sexual assault.

Her profile pictures were also removed.
