The politician announced that he will not be starring in the hit show's 25th season because he will have an "overwhelming number of commitments" to attend to in the following months.

An OGE spokesperson declined to comment, but Schaub explained why Spicer could be violating the law by discussing the possibility of appearing on "Dancing With The Stars" while working for the government.

Spicer said that he resigned to "give the president and new team a clean slate", CNN reported.

The meetings must have led to something more interesting as there was no indication Spicer would be returning to the White House following Scaramucci's ouster earlier this week.

Spicer may be considering a switch to the dynamic field of television where he can share his insider knowledge of the White House.

While he's apparently too busy for reality TV, Spicer isn't ruling out TV altogether - sources have been saying he's holding meetings with all the major TV networks about who's going to get an exclusive, post-White House interview with him.

He was seen near the CBS News office and walking out of the News Corp. building that houses Fox News and The Wall Street Journal. One of the sources also told Page Six some news executives "made the full-court press", as each of them tried to convince Spicer, who has been a hot topic of late-night fodder, to join them. Then, Scaramucci was sacked after just 10 days as communications director, which prompted further speculation that Spicer would remain at the White House after all.
