North Korea missile re-entry technology not perfected yet: South Korea

North Korea's regime has issued a new warning against the US and South Korea. (,.) He urged North Korea to immediately stop its provocations and asserted that he does not want to replace or make the regime collapse, nor does he plan to accelerate the reunification of the two Koreas artificially.

The administration has been downplaying that threat, warning that war is not imminent but stressing that the U.S.is committed to the defense of its allies and the homeland and will use force against North Korea if diplomacy fails to produce the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Trump declared the USA military "locked and loaded" while Pyongyang threatened to fire four missiles into the waters near the us territory of Guam.

US National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster recently declared the United Stated was prepared to wage a "preventive war" against North Korea if that was to be deemed necessary - although the current deployment of the US aircraft carriers does not seem to bode a military operation. North Korea has been testing missiles at an unprecedented pace since past year and said last week it was developing a plan to land missiles near the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam.

North Korea said its last test of an intercontinental ballistic missile in late August was a "perfect and big success" with both re-entry and warhead control capabilities showing no fault.

Less than six years into his reign, Kim has tested more missiles than his father and grandfather combined, conducted three nuclear tests, and is racing to develop a nuclear-tipped missile that can hit the USA mainland.
