It has been confirmed by many media outlets that second-year wide-receiver #Sterling Shepard has injured his leg at practice today.

Before taking the practice field Wednesday, Shepard took the time to wish his mother a happy birthday on Instagram.

McAdoo would not describe it as a high or low ankle sprain.

The immediate diagnosis is a low-ankle sprain, according to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. As long as it is not a torn meniscus or a torn ACL as these injuries are much more hard to heal and come back from. The Giants used a few players in Shepard's spot once he left the field, including rookie first-round pick Evan Engram and veteran Dwayne Harris. Either way, time will tell what kind of injury it is exactly.

North Korea is not our problem, Beijing tells US
And China has essentially acted like it no longer wishes to be bothered in interfering with our North Korea problem. Trump responded to the test by ripping China's leadership on Twitter.

After he put together a solid rookie season in 2016, the New York Giants began training camp hoping that wide receiver Sterling Shepard would take another step forward in 2017.

Shepard figures to be a key player in the Giants' offense this season, lining up on the inside with Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall outside. They made the playoffs previous year but lost to the Packers in disappointing fashion.

Head coach Ben McAdoo said after practice that the Shepard has a "basketball-type" sprained ankle after planting his foot while running a hammer-route. He was said at practice to be "stretching with teammates and jogging".
