RB Leipzig's Naby Keita

Leipzig's Guinean midfielder Naby Keita celebrates after scoring the 4-0 during the German first division Bundesliga football match between RB Leipzig and SV Darmstadt 98 in Leipzig

Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl hinted that a move could be explored next summer, but that Keita would be staying for the next 12 months.

Liverpool have since ended their pursuit for the 22-year-old this summer, but that hasn't stopped Klopp from seeing the lighter side of the failed attempt.

Liverpool have been left frustrated in their pursuit of Keita after RB Leipzig rejected two club record bids for the Guinea worldwide.

Keita was one of RB Leipzig's key players a season ago as the newly promoted club qualified for the Champions League.

Some Liverpool fans have argued that RB Leipzig should let Keita leave if he desires the move, but Fjortoft indicated the very same fans would take a different view if the boot was on the other foot.

Speaking to Sky Deutschland, he said with a smile: "Our next offer for Keita is €300million!".

"The chance (of Keita leaving) is "null".

Insurance firm: 2 employees hurt in Swiss attack
Prosecutor Peter Sticher said Wrousis has two previous convictions for offenses against weapons laws, one from 2014 and 2016. Wrousis appeared to have been targeting employees of CSS Insurance who were working in the company's office in Schaffhausen.

Hasenhuttl believes Keita will benefit from another season of development with Leipzig, with the experience of making his Champions League debut a crucial part of his development. At the beginning of the transfer period we said we would start with the same team with all the main players we had left previous year, that no one will go.

Naby Keita made 123 defensive actions in the Bundesliga last season.

The player will have a €50 million release clause on his contract next summer though and it is hard to see him remaining at the club beyond that time.

"For us, everyone can see how important Naby Keita is to our game, Emil Forsberg also".

"Until next summer, we'll keep [the door] closed and then we'll have a look".

"We are not where we want to be yet, but that is what pre-season is for".

"They are all very young players, and I think for them it's very important to play the first year in the Champions League with a team where they know the automatism, where they know how they have to play".
