Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta for Ghost War PvP mode coming later this summer
The actual free update is expected to be available in Fall 2017. It's based on tactical squad play from the main game, and one team plays as Ghosts and the other plays as a squad of spec ops soldiers.
The open beta launches this summer across PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a full release in the fall as a free update for everyone who owns Ghost Recon: Wildlands. In this Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP game mode, two teams of 4 players will fight against each other in a tactical deathmatch setting. It's unclear what exactly will be included in the open beta, but the primary objective of it will be to balance the game mode ahead of launch.
Players will be able to choose from a roster of specialized classes, including: Scout, Tank, Sniper, and more. Further, matches can take place in all types of weather and during many different times of the day.
