US President Donald Trump has suggested he could change his position on the Parisclimate change deal during a gushing news conference with his French counterpart. Flanked by the Melania Trump and Brigitte Macron, Trump grasped Brigitte's hand with his left hand even as he continued to hold the French president's hand with his right. "If it happens", he said, "it will be wonderful; if it doesn't, that will be OK too".
Last month he had said the United States would withdraw from the Paris accord, citing moves to negotiate a new "fair" deal that would not disadvantage USA businesses.
Mr Trump said he and Mr Macron enjoyed a "very good relationship".
