Amazon to introduce its own messaging app

Facebook's WhatsApp & Instagram, Telegram and Snapchat, among others have amassed more than a billion active users and now, leading e-commerce giant Amazon is planning to launch its own messaging application dubbed as "Anytime".

The users will apparently be able to connect with their friends by simply searching them for their names and without the need of phone numbers.

What do you think of this Amazon Anytime leak?

Amazon might soon join the line of tech giants with their own messaging apps. " According to the report, the messaging service will have voice, video calls, photos sharing ability, filters, masks, etc". Till then, here is a list of things Amazon can bring in its Anytime app, to take on the biggies like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Messaging apps are in vogue these days. This will be a highly troublesome feature, given users will have to choose which messages they want to keep safe.

Now, Amazon eyes messaging app

The report cites customer survey information and explains that Anytime will have standard messaging features such as encryption, video support, audio support, and stickers. The service has plenty of features which might speak to all users, and the more optimistic ones say it will be worthy of competing with any existent social platform. With this messaging App, Amazon plans to open more lines of Communication with consumers.

The leaked images suggest this app can do everything Allo, Duo, Slack, Facebook Messenger, and even your SMS app can do all in one place, which makes it incredibly intriguing for those exhausted of using a variety of services.

The app also allows sending of images, videos, GIFs, and emoticons.

It is important to note that Amazon's Chime, which was launched earlier this year, is also a messaging app, although it's primarily targeted towards enterprise customers.

The site also uploaded an image about Amazon's expected platform.
