UFC Legend Matt Hughes Involved In Serious Accident With A Train

UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes Airlifted Following Truck Collision With Train

Hughes (45-9) is now 43-years old and retired from fighting in 2011.

UFC president Dana White later confirmed that Hughes had suffered head injuries before being airlifted to a local medical facility for treatment.

No other information is available at this time.

According to Illinois State Police, Hughes drove a pickup truck across a railroad crossing "directly in front of a train and the train struck the passenger side of the truck". White said a truck Hughes was in collided with a moving train earlier today (June 16).
