Cavs not looking to slow down pace of Finals with Warriors

Golden State held an identical series lead a year ago when the championship series shifted to Cleveland but split the two games there and then went on to become the first team to lose an NBA Finals after leading 3-1. We play our game.

The Warriors have knocked down 30 of their 76 looks from three-point range, including an 18-of-43 showing (41.9 percent) in their 132-113 Game 2 win.

"I want to win just as bad as they do and obviously they probably got a bad taste in their mouth after what happened last year and we had one in our mouth last year from what happened the year before", James said.

According to ESPN's research, the first two games of the series were played at a faster pace - possessions per minutes - than any of James' previous 212 playoff games.

Durant said he can feel the impact Golden State's third-quarter runs have had in sapping the will from their rivals.

In the Game 2 win, the Warriors got double-digit scoring efforts from four of their five starters, as well as reserve point guard Shaun Livingston.

Cleveland Cavaliers win in 6: 2.55%.

The equally confusing White House explanation was too late to head off a some mercilessly fun at the 45th president's expense. As the room erupted in shouts and sarcastic comments, Spicer smiled briefly but ploughed on to the next question.

"We have to take care of home court", Cavaliers forward Kevin Love said. If somebody is struggling, they can just find someone else with their precision ball movement. I think I'd say we won a championship.

"They made some tough shots, but that's what they do", Lue said. "And we have done a great job of getting everyone involved and making sure that everyone feels comfortable, but now we need everything and everybody".

A year after making history but falling one game short of an National Basketball Association title, the Golden State Warriors are focused on capturing the crown, not a possible unbeaten playoff run.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue confirmed that he would not be changing his starting line-up in Game Three despite suggestions he would start Iman Shumpert over J.R. Smith, who scored just three points in two games.

"Teams have great nights in this league, and it's the National Basketball Association, so that can happen a lot", Durant said. If they can sweep the Cavs as they did Portland, Utah and San Antonio to complete a flawless playoff run, fine.

"When you're the one making the run, you could definitely feel the other team looking for answers and being deflated as the game goes on", Durant said.

But the sting from last year's loss has the Warriors lingers. "So to give ourselves a chance at even coming close to thinking about that".
