Survivors of Egypt Christian bus attack recount their horror

Egypt has launched a second round of air stirkes over Libya in retaliation for Friday's attack on a bus carrying Coptic Christians near Cairo.

Meanwhile, Egypt on Saturday morning said its military is continuing to carry out air strikes against militant training camps in Derna in eastern Libya, state television reported.

The east Libyan air force said Friday the strikes were targeting al-Qaeda linked forces and did not mention Islamic State.

Rival gangs in the capital, Tripoli are now engaged in the latest round of clashes, which has reportedly resulted in dozens of people killed and over a hundred injured.

The ISIS terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack the Coptic Christians, the second major attack on Egypt's minority community in nearly two months.

The bus was travelling to the Monastery of St Samuel the Confessor, 135km (85 miles) south of Cairo, from Minya province when it came under fire.

Egypt's Christian minority, which makes up about 10% of the country's population, has repeatedly been targeted by armed groups.

IS jihadists have threatened further attacks.

Two deadly church bombings in Alexandria and Tanta took more than 45 lives in April, and almost 30 people were killed in the Daesh-claimed attack on a church in the capital Cairo in December. In December, a suicide bomber struck a church in Cairo, killing 29 Copts.
