Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said that winning titles is more important for the club than finishing in the top four in the Premier League.

"I don't think [Pogba will be available]".

Manchester United manager José Mourinho has stated that he doesn't want to play anymore Premier League games ahead of their Europa League final, having tasted their second consecutive Premier League loss with the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

"When people say that we gambled by going for the Europa League, we didn't gamble", Mourinho said earlier.

And while the Portuguese coach claimed he was "happy" with his players' individual performances, he made an early exit from his media commitments in an interview with Sky Sports after Sunday's game.

"When I have 14 or 15 players, I can't do it".

"And one last match to play because in this moment the Premier League, for us, is just matches we don't want to play". I don't want to field a team where people think we aren't fighting for the result - we are fighting for the result. But if everything goes normal and we have no problems, Sergio plays the final.

The think tank expects the unemployment rate to rise from 4.8% at the end of this year to 5.4% in 2018 and 5.8% in 2019. United Kingdom retail sales volumes rose 2.3% for April compared with expectations of an increase of around 1.0%.

Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United will continue to fight for titles instead of clambering to make the top four this season.

"Yes they were today, and against Man City, Swansea and Arsenal, and it'll be the same in the next match against Southampton and the last match against Crystal Palace".

The 27-year-old has played key role for Mourinho this season and the fact that he has been left out of Wednesday's game points to a potential final start in Stockholm.

"With two matches in hand that we had to play later". I can not lose 5-0 or 6-0.

"We know that, but we fight for titles".

"Two bad goals conceded but a positive game for us because the players that needed to play 90 minutes, they did it, and it's important for them", Mourinho said.

"After 2-0 we had to bring a bit more quality to the team, we brought more balance", Mourinho added.
