Almost 81.89 per cent of total 1,38,727 students who appeared for class XII science stream examination conducted by the Gujarat School Education Board were declared pass today. The results were announced on 10th May at 10:00 AM and have been uploaded on the official website of Gujarat Secondary And Higher Secondary Education Board.

Last year, Gujarat 12th class result was released on 16th May 2016, this year it was releasing 5 days before as they speed up the correction and database process on March and April 2017. Every year, around 15 lakh students take the HSC and SSC exams. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is the state board. The Board Conducts two exams Main SSC (Secondary School Certificate ) and HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate).

Out of total 213 centres where the examination was conducted, the result of Gondal centre was the highest at 98.77%, while that of Silvassa centre (of the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli) was the lowest at 39.09%, GSEB said.
