Nintendo WILL Release SNES Classic Edition In 2017

In a statement issued by Nintendo, the company confirms that NES Classic Edition will no longer be manufactured, and that update will be posted on their official website when production resumes in the future, My Nintendo News reported. This edition will follow the same plug and play setup with pre-installed games like NES Classic Mini.

"One big problem we noted in our review of the NES Classic Mini was the incredibly short cable for its controllers".

On the other hand, Nintendo recently discontinued the Mini NES despite evidence of continuing huge demand that hasn't been satisfied by the paltry supply Nintendo rolled out to stores. I was interested in the NES Classic, but a Super Nintendo Classic might have games like Super Mario World, Street Fighter II, Yoshi's Island, and Donkey Kong Country. Not at all. More so, considering Nintendo's sloth-like approach to adding games to it.

Microsoft used to released numbers for their console sales in each earnings report, but stopped sharing that information at the end of 2014. The plan was always to move on to SNES Mini the next holiday season. But will the launch of the SNES classic addition get you back on the Super Mario Kart track?

Their report claims Nintendo's plan with the NES mini was always to only ship the tiny console as a novelty item during the Christmas 2016 period and never meant to sell it as a permanent product. Now, the news outlet has revealed that Nintendo has confirmed that it will cease the production of the device but then it is yet to be known if the suspension of production will be worldwide. This ensures that the NES Mini and SNES Mini don't take the spotlight away from the company's priority, which is the Nintendo Switch. Moreover, there were several reports last week too that suggested that the Nintendo of America has also ended all the shipments regarding the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System for 2017.
