Bucks overwhelm Raptors 104-77, take 2-1 series lead

"We've got no choice".
Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo dunks during the second half of game 3 of their NBA first-round playoff series basketball game against the Toronto Raptors Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Milwaukee. I think the Raptors are respected, and will go back to being mostly well-liked by Milwaukee's National Basketball Association public as soon as this series is finished.
Milwaukee took Game 1 in commanding fashion while Toronto recovered by holding off a number of late charges from the Bucks to even things up in Game 2.
"There's a tremendous amount of mutual respect", team co-owner Wes Edens said. "Use everything that happened tonight, that's going to come with the next 24 hours, use it as motivation". The Raptors were fully nine games better than the Bucks through the regular season. DeRozan went 0-for-8 overall, making him the first 25-points-per-game scorer to go 0-for-3 or worse in a playoff game in the same season, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Unfortunately for us, they're still, inexplicably, the Raptors.
"It's just his competitive edge", Casey said. They also played much better defense, harassing the Spurs into missing 11 of their first 17 in the quarter. "They game-planned really well for us".
The Milwaukee Bucks have taken some positive even after their loss in the Game 2, the Khris Middleton poured in 20 points in Game 2 and as a whole, the Milwaukee Bucks shot 47 percent from deep, which was up from 39 percent in Game 1.
Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix qualifying session 2
Four-time champion Vettel was third fastest for Ferrari , unable to make an impact on the two Mercedes men who took the front row. Esteban Ocon wound up 14th for Force India, citing a lack of grip on his final Q2 lap as he finished two seconds off the pace.
This was all about the Bucks digging in on defence and making it all but impossible for the Raptors to score. With no paint presence and simply unable to find their three-point game at all to make up for that huge deficit inside, there was no coming back from the early deficit. It's unacceptable for a veteran team who is the higher seed to show such little sense of urgency, and turn in such a disgusting effort.
We can go down the list, but if Delon Wright is going to be Toronto's best player in a playoff game, it's hard not to think that there's serious issues festering below the surface.
DeMar DeRozan leads the team in scoring at 27.3 while Jonas Valanciunas has taken care of the rebounding at 9.5 and Kyle Lowry got most assist per game at 7. The home team dominated the boards, nailed three-pointers, protected the rim, and snuffed out most of what Toronto tried to do offensively. Casey emptied his bench with five minutes to play. It was a 104-77 beatdown so convincing, it left you wondering how the Raptors managed to win one game so far in this series and doubting if they can get another. At the break, the halftime entertainment was a man stacking, climbing up and balancing on a tower of chairs, the Cream City Clash fan section was exultant and a man nearby remarked that Toronto "may as well just get on the bus and go back to the hotel". Dellavedova hit 4 of 5 shots, including both his 3-point attempts, and helped frustrate Lowry. At one point, the broadcast observed that he should be getting minutes against second units to get going. The cadence of the Bucks' rotations is more distinct and, due to their collective length, more menacing.
They just had no answer for the Bucks defensive prowess.
Saturday's contest was Lowry's fifth after being sidelined for 21 games following wrist surgery. There will be no shortage of other issues to address however. "They are a long team, we had to do a better job of spacing, creating space with screens, zip passes".
Team President Peter Feigin described a close relationship between player and coach bonded in part by what he called a shared "maniacal focus" to be the best.
What's Motivating People to March for Science?
Ferris says Milwaukee's March for Science is just the beginning of a push to advocate for scientific thinking and research. Those planning to attend include those who work in science and others who care about its role in public policy.

Allen stops 51 as Blues take Game 1 in overtime
In Game 2, Minnesota really has nothing to change in their game plan, other than hope Allen makes mistakes in net for the Blues. Blues coach Mike Yeo argued the Wild's shot attempts "will be inflated every game", reports Chad Graff of the Pioneer Press .
